Digital Device & Student Laptop Information


Students who have not yet picked up their laptops will have the opportunity to pick it up on August 10th-12th during lunches to pick up laptops.

Accounts/Passwords

If a student has forgotten their password or can’t log in to their account, please have them go to https://studentid.ocps.net. This must be completed on campus via the school network. If the student does not have a school issued laptop, they can complete this process on the classroom desktops.

Appointments

Starting on Monday, Aug 15th, Students will be required to make an appointment. Click this Link to schedule an appointment. Students will be seen by appointment only. Problem devices will be sent to the repair depot, where the tech will diagnose the problem and a fine will be charged. Payments can be made through School Pay.

What if my student has summer school?
Students will be given a device on the first day of OCPS summer school.


What if my student has OCVS, FLVS, or Dual Enrollment?
They must turn in their device. We are only authorized to give summer devices to students attending an OCPS school-based summer school program.

How will we be notified if our student is fined for laptop damage?
Students are given a printed copy of the detailed assessment.

How can we pay for laptop or textbook fines?

What if my student does not have one of the classes returning devices? When will they return their items
Please haves students return their device to the Media Center May 23rd-25th anytime between 7:30am-2:30pm


How much will my student be fined for laptop damage or charger replacement?
All devices sent out for repair will be charged in accordance with the district fine structure, which can be found here


My student has had their laptop for several years, wear and tear is expected.  Why are they being fined? 
Wear and tear and age of the device are not taken into consideration.


How will my student know if they have outstanding books or obligations?
Students receive emails to their OCPS Gmail account. Please ask them to check spam and junk folders, as well. Students can also come to the media center to ask for a print out of all fines.


What if I can’t pay the full cost assessed to my student at this time?
