Cambridge AICE Diploma Program
The Cambridge AICE Diploma Program is a structured program for academically talented and highly motivated students that are seeking an AICE diploma. Students entering the cohort take AICE courses in 9th, 10th and 11th grades, and will have the opportunity to earn college credits and/or advanced course placement in college. AICE advanced level courses are equivalent to those of Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB). Furthermore, graduating with the Cambridge AICE Diploma Award makes students more competitive in the college application process. Passing a number of AICE exams can lead to advanced standing at the college level. Currently, students who earn the Cambridge AICE Diploma Award and complete 100 service hours during their high school careers automatically earn the current Florida Academic Scholars tuition scholarship regardless of grade point average and/or college entrance examination scores. Students will also have the opportunity to take AP and dual enrollment courses while in the program, starting with one AP course in 9th grade.
The Cambridge AICE Diploma program is not a magnet program. Students must be zoned for Timber Creek High School to apply.
