AP CAPSTONE Application 2026-2027
The AP Capstone™ Program is a College Board program that equips students with the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are increasingly valued by colleges. It cultivates curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical, evidence-based decisions. AP Capstone is comprised of two AP courses — AP Seminar and AP Research — and is designed to complement and enhance the discipline-specific study in other AP courses.
Students must complete/submit the AP Capstone intent form to be considered for the AP Capstone Program for the 2026-2027 school year.
Students must take AP Capstone Seminar (11th grade) to take AP Capstone Research (12th grade).

Early Childhood Education Program 2026-2027

Early Childhood Education (ECE) may be the program for you! This four-year CTE program provides 60 hours of child care training, CPR training, and nationally-recognized industry certifications. Students gain real-world work experience volunteering and teaching in our on-campus Wolf Pup Learning Center preschool lab. Many students leave this program with college credit, industry certifications, and jobs in the child care industry. There is an application process to be accepted into Early Childhood Education Program and the application can be accessed on the TCHS Website under the “Student Services” Tab—Class/Course Applications, or by scanning the QR Code. Please keep in mind that you must be logged into your OCPS student email account to access the application.

Please print and return the completed application to the ECE box in the front office of Timber Creek High School no later than 2:30 pm on February 6th, 2026

Dance Program 2026-2027

If interested in taking one of our dance classes, please visit our LinkTree which includes information needed to be prepared to join the Program or Audition.
The audition for levels 2, 3, 4, and the dance teams is February 25th, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in our performing arts center. Please complete the audition application by February 21st, 2025 if planning on auditioning. You will also need to complete a permission slip and an agreement/waiver which is on our LinkTree and bring these to the audition. Those auditioning for a dance team will also need a teacher recommendation. All of these forms can be found on our LinkTree.

Leaders in Action (LIA) 2026-2027

What are Leaders in Action?
Leaders in Action (LIA) is a year-long, student-centered, project-based leadership program for students in grades 6–12, empowering young people to become active, responsible leaders in their schools and communities.
Through hands-on projects, mentoring, and community involvement, students develop essential leadership skills while strengthening their academic, social, and civic growth.
Why should you join Leaders in Action?
Joining Leaders in Action is more than joining a class; it’s choosing to grow, lead, and make a difference. This program empowers students to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and turn ideas into meaningful action. Peer Inclusion Team (PIT Crew) 2026-2027

PIT (Peer Inclusion Team) Crew is designed for Timber Creek students to serve as peer supports and mentors to peers with disabilities. This program provides reciprocal academic, social and interpersonal benefits to students with and without disabilities in an inclusive setting.

SGA - Student Government Association 2026-2027
Incoming Freshmen interested in being a part of our SGA program for the 2026 - 2027 school year need to complete an application. The application, school counselor, and teacher recommendations are all due on February 30th, 2026 (the Application will not be available after this date). You must also sign up for an in-person interview in March 2026. All information is included in the application.
Any current Timber Creek High School students interested in applying to be a member of SGA for the 2026-2027 School year will need to contact Mrs. Foskett.

STUDENT ASSISTANT 2026-2027

Student Assistants help in the Media Center, Front Office, and Student Services Office. Students will be asked to help with library and clerical tasks. Student Assistants are expected to be friendly, organized, prompt and responsible; they should have great attendance, strong customer service, organizational, and computer skills. Student Assistants will be required to sign in everyday and maintain good attendance. Students should be a Junior or Senior, must have a cumulative weighted 3.5 GPA (or higher) and cannot have any discipline referrals. Please bring/email completed application forms to Mrs. Mahaffey in the library/media center.

Auditions for incoming freshmen and upperclassmen new to the department will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 11th starting at 3:30 PM in Room 567 on th Timber Creek High School campus.
- Students should prepare a 45-second cut of a musical theatre song w/ accompaniment track (from a published musical) to audition for Musical Theatre course consideration. (No a capella singing)
- Students should prepare a 60-second monologue from a published play (no monologues from monologue books)
- Expected slate: “Hello, my name is _____ and I will be performing the song _____ from the musical _______. Thank you.” or “Hello, my name is _____ and I will be performing a monologue from the play ____ written by __________. Thank you!”
Students must apply and be accepted into the tech theater program. Email and attach a completed applications (link below) to ryan.skiles@ocps.net to be considered.
