Fall 2020 Testing Information

Please read the below information carefully to sign up for specific tests by the deadlines.

Students will receive testing information via their OCPS student email address.  Students are encouraged to check their email daily.

LaunchEd students must provide their own transportation to and from testing.

The Scholar Designation is awarded to students that meet the criteria in the link above under "Standard High School Diploma Designations."  The designation is a seal on the student's diploma and is not a scholarship.

SAT and PSAT Testing:
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email.  More information can be found in the sign-up link below. Students that are Face to Face will take the exam with their grade level on the designated date below.

    • Test: PSAT NMSQT               Grade: 10th and 11th       Date: 10/29/20

Algebra I EOC:
Test Window: October
Test Length: Two Days
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

The Algebra 1 EOC is a graduation requirement.  A student can meet this requirement by earning a passing score on the Algebra 1 EOC or a concordant score on the SAT, PSAT NMSQT, Geometry EOC or ACT.

  • Who can take this?
    • Students that were enrolled in Algebra I last school year (2019-2020) and did not get to test due to school closure.
    • Students that have previously take the Algebra 1 EOC, and did not receive a passing score will receive separate testing information and do not need to sign up.
  • If you choose not to test during the Fall administration then there will be another administration in the Spring.

Geometry EOC:
Test Window: October
Test Length: Two Days
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

  • Who can take this?
    • Students should sign up to take the Geometry EOC if they want to earn the Scholar Designation for graduation purposes.  More information can be found through the link at the top of the page.  
    • Students that were enrolled in Geometry last school year (2019-2020) and did not get to test were not required to take the EOC as part of the final grade.  The EOC was waived and all grades were calculated without the EOC score.

FSA ELA:

Test Window: November
Test Length: Three Days
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

The FSA ELA (10th grade) is a graduation requirement.  A student can meet this requirement by earning a passing score on the FSA ELA or a concordant score on the SAT or ACT.

  • Who can take this?

    • Seniors who still need to earn a concordant score for graduation.
    • Juniors that did not take the FSA ELA during the 2019-2020 school year  (10th grade year) due to school closures. 
  • If you choose not to test during the Fall administration then there will be another administration in the Spring.

PERT:
Test Window: November
Test Length: One Day
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

  • Who can take this?
    • Students that are applying for Valencia College Dual Enrollment and need eligible test scores for the application. Students can also submit qualifying SAT and ACT scores to Valencia College. More information can be found in the sign up link below.

US History EOC:

Test Window: December
Test Length: One Day
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

  • Who can take this?
    • Students should sign up to take the US History EOC if they want to earn the Scholar Designation for graduation purposes.  More information can be found through the link at the top of the page.  .
    • Students that were enrolled in US History last school year (2019-2020) and did not get to test were not required to take the EOC as part of the final grade.  The EOC was waived and all grades were calculated without the EOC score.

Test Length: One Day
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email. Once students sign-up to test they will then be scheduled on a specific date and notified via OCPS student email.

    • Students should sign up to take the Biology EOC if they want to earn the Scholar Designation for graduation purposes.  More information can be found through the link at the top of the page.  
    • Students that were enrolled in Biology last school year (2019-2020) and did not get to test were not required to take the EOC as part of the final grade.  The EOC was waived and all grades were calculated without the EOC score.
