Reminders For Graduation 2021
Graduation Day
● Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 2pm at the Amway Arena.
● Parking will be free in the Geico Parking garage located across the street from the Amway Center. Parking will be available on floors 2 – 8.
● We encourage parents to arrive early and watch both sessions
● No bags are allowed in the Amway Arena – 4.5x6.5 inch clutch or wallet is approved.
● No items that make noise are allowed in the Amway.
● All guests will go through an Amway Center check point for entrance.
● The ceremony will be split into 2 parts based on alphabetical order
○ Session 1:
■ Alpha A-L
■ Session 1 begins at 2pm.
■ Students participating in session 1 should arrive by 12:45pm.
■ Students will enter the loading dock on the first floor on the side near the GEICO garage.
■ Students will exit after their session into the courtyard on the North Side of the Arena. This is a great time to take photos with family and friends. The rest of the class will be out there about 45 minutes later to take additional photos.
○ Session 2:
■ Session 1 will begin by 3pm
■ Alpha M-Z
■ Students participating in session 2 should arrive by 1:45pm.
■ Students will enter the loading dock on the first floor on the side near the GEICO garage.
■ Students will exit after their session into the courtyard on the North Side of the Arena. This is a great time to take photos with family and friends.
Graduation Tickets
Tickets will be distributed during Senior Clearance. Ticket seating is completed through a randomizer, as this is NOT general seating. We will NOT switch, select, or hold tickets. The graduate does not need a ticket to the ceremony and children under two years old do not need a ticket but must sit on the lap of an adult. Keep your tickets in a safe location, as they will be needed to enter the Amway.
Cap & Gown
If you have any questions regarding your cap and gown or have not ordered a cap and gown yet please contact Herff-Jones as soon as possible. Their office number is 407-647-4373. Students are not allowed to decorate their caps.
Attire Under Graduation Gown & Cap Details
● Please wear business professional attire (dress, skirt & blouse, collared dress shirt, tie, slacks, etc.) and dress shoes (recommended to wear closed-toe shoes, and shoes that you have practiced walking in).
● Caps CANNOT be decorated for the ceremony.
● Students will have their attire checked before the ceremony. This is a prestigious occasion, and we expect all graduates to dress appropriately for the occasion.
Graduation Run Through/Practice
This year there will not be a graduation rehearsal at the graduation site or at TCHS. Instead we have a detailed run through presentation of the logistics of graduation posted on the student body Canvas page. Please make sure you view this presentation.

Senior Laptop Return

Seniors can BEGIN returning their laptops on 5/12/21. This will be at the media center from 8:30am-12:00pm or from 1pm-2pm. Please use the link to schedule an appointment.  Seniors can also turn in laptops during Senior Clearance or wait until they have completed their last AP exam.

Senior Clearance – Mandatory Event – All Seniors Must Participate

Senior Clearance will be held in the Media Center on Tuesday, May 18th for last names A-L and on Wednesday, May 19th for last names M-Z. Thursday, May 20th will be a make-up day for any seniors who were not able to attend on Tuesday or Wednesday. Times will be from 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm on each day.

Dates:

Tuesday, May 18th (Students with last name Alpha A-L)
Wednesday, May 19 (Students with last name Alpha M-Z)
Thursday, May 20th (makeup day)
- In the Media Center
- Anytime between 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm
- Turn in laptops and textbooks
- Get graduation tickets
- Graduation clearance
- Reader card for graduation ceremony
- Pick up swag bags with senior gifts, cords, etc. 



Graduation Tickets

Please complete the Graduation RSVP Form at https://forms.gle/YvLYz4ZQ1SbeCaFF6.  This form must be completed by Friday 5/7/21 in order to receive tickets.  You can also indicate any special needs using this form.  

Each graduate will receive 1 Pod of 4 tickets, 2 pods of 2 tickets, or 1 pod of two tickets, depending on what was requested through the Graduation RSVP Google form. Due to capacity restrictions and social distancing guidelines, the maximum number of tickets that each senior can receive is 4 tickets.

Senior Drive Through 
The second annual Senior Drive Through will be on Wednesday, May 12 at 6pm in the TCHS parking lot. Seniors are encouraged to decorate their cars. We ask that someone else other than the TCHS Senior drive the vehicle so the student can fully participate in the event and not have to worry about driving.

Prom Not Prom
-- Prom Not Prom will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 7:00-10:00pm on the TCHS Football Field.
-- Price: $20.00
-- Attire is Semi-Formal but feel free to wear formal attire if you prefer.

-- Admission sales will end on May 8, 2021
-- Timber Creek Seniors Only – No Guests

Yearbook Distribution

Yearbook distribution for seniors who did not already pick them up will be at the Prom Not Prom event on Saturday, 5/15/21. Seniors not attending that event will also be able to pick up their yearbook during their Senior Clearance appointment on 5/18, 5/19, & 5/20.

Senior Banners:
Each Senior will receive a personalized banner and an alumni bag.   They will be distributed at each of the senior events including yearbook distribution, laptop return, and senior clearance.

Senior T-Shirts:
Each Senior will receive a Senior T-Shirt.  They will be distributed during senior clearance.
