Students will receive testing information via their OCPS student email address.  Students are encouraged to check their email daily.

College Board and ACT Testing

The dates below are set by the district and there will not be make-up dates. 

Students will receive a testing ticket via their OCPS student email one week prior to testing.  The information will include the room number and specific testing directions.

To receive testing accommodations on College Board exams, if you have a 504 or IEP,  you must apply and be approved.  Please contact Mrs. DiBiase (IEP) or Mrs. Wood (504) with questions or to start the process.  If you have already applied and been approved then you do not need to apply again.

ACT Testing:

Test Date: April 27, 2021
Test Length: One Day
Grade: 11th ONLY
Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations one week prior to testing via their OCPS student email.

  • Who can take this?
    • Timber Creek High School 11th grade students. We have a district contract, so only students currently in 11th grade can participate in this administration.

    • Students electing to take the ACT must come on campus to test.  

  • Students will take the ACT through a digital platform.  Students will use their school laptop to take the ACT on April 27th.  

Important: All 11th grade students will be automatically signed up.  Students do NOT need to sign up to take the April 27th ACT School Day for Juniors.

Students taking the ACT must bring an acceptable ID with them or the ACT ID Form (below) to be admitted to testing.  ACT acceptable IDs and what to bring can be found  here:

If you do not have an acceptable form of identification (see link above to check), you can bring the completed ACT ID form  to be admitted to testing.  You can download the ACT ID Form from through the link above.

AP Testing:

Test Date: May 3-17, 2021 (primary testing dates)
Test Length: Varies by subject

Students will receive specific testing information, dates, times and locations prior to testing via their OCPS student email and AP teacher.

  • Who can take this?
    • Students currently enrolled in AP courses.

    • Students will be able to choose to take their AP exams via paper or digital format (if offered).  Please see below for more details.

Important Notes:
1. Administration 1 is ONLY paper based ON CAMPUS.  Times, locations and specific details will be given to you by your AP teacher.
2. All digital testing options will be done at the student's HOME.  We will not offer digital testing on campus. Testing on campus will only be paper based.
3.  The following exams are only offered paper based: Spanish Language, Chinese, French, German, Music Theory and Spanish Literature--Students in these courses will not need to fill out the Google Form.  Teachers in the previous subjects will communicate testing options and details to students separately. 
** AP 2D, AP 3D, AP Drawing and AP Research are portfolio based and will not have a exam.**
4. Administration 3 can only be taken digitally, if it is offered for your subject.  
5. Students will be able to choose the format (digital or paper) for each subject individually.  Your AP teacher will make suggestions about the best options for each exam.  Students were asked to complete a Google Form with their choice prior to Spring Break.  If you have any questions or need to change the selection, please contact your AP teacher.
6. Digital testing during Administration 3 and the end of Administration 2 will be after the end of the school year.  7.  Exam scores for Administration 3 will not be released until August. Exam scores for Administrations 1 and 2 will be released in July.

State Testing

The following tests will be administered on campus at Timber Creek High School. All students that have been scheduled to test received an email from Mr. Olson with specific testing information. Students will receive a test ticket via their OCPS email account one week prior to testing. The information will include the testing room number and specific testing directions.
FSA ELA Writing Grades 9 and 10 -

Test Date: Thursday, 8 April

Important: Students must take the Writing test prior to taking the Reading test on May 6th and 7th.  Students will not be able to attend the ELA Reading tests, if the Writing test has not been completed.

7:20 AM-11:45 AM: Testing

11:45 AM- 12:28 PM: School-Wide Lunch

12:34 PM-1:24 PM: 6th period

1:30 PM- 2:20 PM:  7th period
- Students not scheduled to test will follow the same schedule.
- Students that are not scheduled to test can complete assigned class work through [email protected]

FSA ELA Reading Grades 9 and 10 -

Test Date: Thursday and Friday, 6 and 7 May 

Students must take both sessions of the Reading test to receive a score.  The FSA ELA score is based on three parts (Writing, Reading Day 1 and Reading Day 2), and all three parts must be completed to get a score. 

Students must have headphones/earbuds for both days of the Reading test.

Algebra 1 EOC -

Test Date: Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 May

Students must take both sessions of the Algebra 1 test to receive a score.

12:34 PM-1:24 PM: 1st period

1:30 PM- 2:20 PM:  7th period

Geometry EOC -

Test Date: Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 May

Students must take both sessions of the Geometry test to receive a score.
